Voice Memo Exporter runs on your Mac. Your recordings, transcripts, and archive don't leave your machine. That makes this page much shorter than most.
What we collect about you.
Nothing.
Voice Memo Exporter is a desktop app that runs locally on your Mac. It doesn't have a server that receives your data. It doesn't have an account system. It doesn't send your recordings, transcripts, or any other content anywhere. There is nothing to collect because the architecture makes collection impossible.
What stays on your Mac
- Your original Voice Memos (we never modify them)
- The copied audio in your archive folder
- The transcripts generated locally
- The Master Transcript, metadata, and any exports
- The app's own settings
All of it lives in folders you chose, on your machine.
What about transcription?
Local transcription runs on your Mac using on-device speech recognition. Your audio is not sent to a cloud transcription service.
What about the website?
We don't currently run analytics on the website. If that changes, we'll update this page and name the tool here. We don't sell your data, run ad tracking, or share information with third parties.
What about your purchase?
If you buy through Gumroad, Gumroad collects your email, name, country, and IP address as part of processing the purchase. Gumroad has its own privacy policy. We don't use your email for marketing.
What about support emails?
If you email support@voicememoexporter.com, we read your email and reply. That's it. Your email is not added to a marketing list.
